Erasmus+ Info Day: Call for proposals on Social inclusion through education, training and youth

We are pleased to share with you that the new call for proposals in Erasmus+ Key Action 3 is available for applicants with projects aiming at stimulating innovative policy development, policy dialogue and implementation as well as the exchange of knowledge in education, training and youth. The following three main instruments are managed through specific calls call for proposals:

  • Initiatives for policy innovation, supporting Forward-looking cooperation projects to stimulate innovative development
  • Initiatives for policy innovation supporting European policy experimentations of high level organisations and public authorities to experiment policy implementation,
  • Civil Society Cooperation, supporting European NGOs and EU-wide networks targeting at raising awareness about European policies and boosting the cooperation with the public authorities in fields of education, training and youth.

As in the previous Info Day on “Erasmus+ Key Action 3: Support for Policy Reform – Forward-Looking Cooperation Projects”, AER Secretariat hopes to meet with all participants in the Info Day of the new call for proposal on 25th April in the Management Centre Europe, Brussels.

The event is organised by the Educational, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and the topic of the Info Day is the Call for Proposal “Erasmus+ Key Action 3: Support for policy reform – Social inclusion through education, training and youth (EACEA/07/2017)” . This call will support transnational cooperation projects such as projects on adapting learning practices, tools and materials in the fields of education, training and youth. The registration and the programme of the event is available on the EACEA’s website. The deadline for this call is at h 12:00 (CET) on 22nd of May.

Each projects for this call must address one of the following general objectives:

  • disseminating and/or scaling up good practices on inclusive learning initiated in particular at local level,
  • developing and implementing innovative methods and practices to foster inclusive education and/or youth environments in specific contexts.

One of the specific objectives must be addressed:

  1. Projects for education and training (Lot 1), aiming at a future alliance of schools for inclusion by creating/developing learning communities through:
  • enhancing the acquisition of social and civic competences, fostering knowledge, understanding and ownership of fundamental values, promoting mutual respect and intercultural dialogue and combating discrimination on all grounds,
  • promoting inclusive education and training and fostering the education of disadvantaged learners, including through supporting teachers, and educators and leaders of educational institutions in dealing with diversity and reinforcing socioeconomic mixity in the learning environment,
  • enhancing critical thinking and media literacy among learners, parents and educational staff,
  • supporting the inclusion of newly arrived migrants in good quality education, including by assessing knowledge and validating prior learning.
  1. Projects for youth (Lot 2):
  • promoting civic participation of young people by developing the role of volunteering for social inclusion,
  • preventing radicalisation leading to violent extremism of young people by reaching out to those at risk of marginalisation or social exclusion.
